Flute
Leslie Hisman
Leslie grew up in a very small town in northeastern Connecticut. She began playing the flute at age 8 (purposely picking the smallest instrument she could) and never put it down. Leslie has always found passion in music that addresses social issues or makes a positive impact in her community. This has included a wide array of projects including performances at senior centers and a recital of works by women to raise money for a local women's shelter in Denver, CO.

Leslie received her Bachelor's of Music in Flute Performance from the University of Denver with a secondary major in International Studies and her Master of Music at the University of Missouri- Kansas City.
When not performing or working in collegiate Student Affairs, she enjoys knitting, cooking/baking, and spending quality time with her rescue Corgi, Toast!
