Picture this: You have just returned from a life-changing trip abroad along-side one of your closest friends. It is a hot summer day and you are making the nearly 9 hour drive back from the airport. Music is playing as you debrief the trip and discuss plans for the future. As long-standing collaborators in chamber music, the question logically becomes "why have we never performed as a duo?" And thus, Silver Bow Sound was born.

Silver Bow Sound shares a common goal of creating fun and engaging performances in the Kansas City community. They plan to uplift voices of fellow musicians and artists through continued commission projects and collaborations. They hope to share their music with a variety of audiences by performing in untraditional venues.

Silver Bow Sound is also committed to the exploration of music as it relates to other aspects of society and the world around us. Current projects include concert series that explore the intersections of music and literature, nature, and social/political issues.
